FYI.....My husband's Uncle who is in his nineties now was the chief Engineer for the plant. When Mr. Tucker was removed Auggie known as Gus Smerda was offered a job because he had set up the production line. He turned the offer down. Also as far as the movie goes, he said that there were some truth to it but a lot of fiction. Auggie in his career also worked in the lab IE; The Linberg Ladder. He retired from Kraft where he designed some equipment for production., that was kept top secret! He is a very talented man, and we are proud to be a part of his family.
